UFO FRIDAY

Hi Everyone!

Hooray! It's Friday! In offices all over the world people are shouting Hooray! It's Friday! Everyone is geeked up for the weekend and having a bit of fun and relaxation, time with the family and friends and to tackle those DIY projects around the home. Or maybe you might be chillin' and grillin', whatever you are planning have FUN!

Not long ago I went into declutter and clean out mode in my craft room.
Yikes! That means pulling out every box, bin and stashed bag, etc. in every closet and drawer, it makes a huge mess. Then each box, bin, bag, drawer, closet is brutally examined and sorted through to find every stashed and  unfinished project. By the time I get to this point in the purging process, I am able to decide what to keep, donate and throw away. Yes! I do throw stuff away. Long ago I gave myself permission to do this and not feel guilty. If it isn't worthy of finishing, recycling or donating then it can go. A MAJOR SORT in the craft room has produced this box of projects I've deemed worthy of finishing.
Ohhhh, don't let the size of this plastic bin fool you into thinking there's only a few UFO's!  There are many hidden projects within its depth! It's mostly sewing projects by hand and machine.

I'm exposing posting a LOOK into my UFO bin as motivation to actually finishing them! Don't know how long it will take because each project requires a different solution in the design process, but I thought it might be interesting to see each UFO become a FFO (Finally Finished Object).

Here's some of the UFO's from PTF (Projects to Finish) bin.

Pool of Blue Log Cabins

Vintage Linen Sampler

Vintage Flower Blocks

Tropical Pillow Cases

Crayon Embroidery

Heart to Heart Applique Pin Cushion

Oh, there are more UFO's in that bin, they all come with a story that I'll be sharing with you next time! Can you see the possibilities in these UFO's??  I can. I hope you will join me each Friday as I work my way through some of these UFO's, turning them into FINISHED Projects!

What's in your UFO bin?

It looks like you have a great start on those UFo"s! I love to get to a good organized place with my projects. I am not one who can create in chaos.

Congrats on decluttering your craft room. I so need to do the same. Can't wait to see how you finish the pincushion. I've always wanted to make a pincushion from vintage fabric. I'll be watching because I'm following now! Thanks for dropping by my blog!
