Friday Blog Link Up

Hello Everyone!

I thought I would take a great leap of faith today after reading a blog post over on sewmanyways.blogspot.com. I linked up with Find a Friend Friday (FaFF). First time I've ever done such a thing but I thought why not?  Immediately, I started checking out some of the other links and found some very interesting and wonderful blogs and as an added bonus, some are linked to Pinterest.  Don't know what Pinterest is? Well, it is my latest obsession on the internet for sure! An on-line bulletin board where you can collect ideas that you might like to try or just like in general. The most amazing thing is that you can create boards to pin to and pin ideas from others! Now, some people frown on this, but others are delighted to share their creations and ideas. If I go to a blog site and the person does not have the Pinterest logo or they specifically say Don't Pin, I honor their request for privacy. Also, giving credit where credit is due is important but you don't need me to lecture on this, you can read the rules for yourself.  I personally think Pinterest is a fabulous way to collect things without hoarding up your house! I'm beginning to think that I am becoming a bit of a pin-hoarder. LOL!  Well, it is fun and if you haven't tried it, do take a look around. It will open your world to some new and beautiful places, people and things!  Have fun and let me know if you sign up! www.pinterest.com  Oh and please, come follow me! I'd love to share my boards with you! Have a great weekend!

Hi Suzy! It's Amy again! The basket in the pantry worked great! After I changed my blog theme again... I had a few minutes to look thru your blog and I must say... I am in love! Do you have a badge that I can add to my blog? I would love to list you there. If you don't I could make one up to match the rest of my icons. If you have a pix that I can/you want me to use could you let me know? And thanks for the Pinterest follow and you can count me as one of yours too!!!

Hi Amy! I'm so glad you like my blog and want to add me to yours, that is so exciting! I'm so new at this that I don't know how to make a badge, but I will ask my computer guru sister to help me! LOL! Thank you for the Pinterest follow! Don't you just love it?

Hey Hey Taylor! Thanks for joining me on Pinterest! Do you have boards yet?

Hey!! I am brand new at this blogging thing too! I figure my theme will settle down soon as I have changed it at least 4 times since March! LOL Do you have tons of ideas too? I am still trying to find the best way to get them from my phone and computer into WordPress. I am thinking about switching to blogger though... Do you love it? What do you hate about it? What would you change? Can you cut and paste easily? I have most of my notes in Evernote now and have to go from there to Word and then to WP... Kind of a pin in the pa-tootie... Oh how was that for a slip? Yeah I am just a bit addicted to Pinterest... It's my new Google!!

Hi Suzy,
Thanks for joining the FaFF linking party and the Sew Sew Saturday! I wanted to stop by your blog to let you know your comments are set to "no reply, which means there isn't an email address attached to your comments and no one can email you back. If you ever want to change that, I have a "no reply" tutorial on the upper right side bar of my blog.
Take care,
Karen

Please click on "view my profile" to send me an email and I will be happy to answer some of your questions. Thanks to Karen and her tutorial over at Sew Many Ways, I was able to "fix" my email. Hope to hear from you soon.
